Ports of Indiana-Jeffersonville saw a significant increase in the amount of cargo it shipped last year. In 2022, the Southern Indiana port along the Ohio River handled 3.46 million tons, up 7.3% compared to 2021 and 30% more than 2020, according to a news release. Jeffersonville reached its highest annual shipment total since it began operation in 1985.
