A popular Mexican restaurant is closing its location in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood, but plans to expand its operation in Southern Indiana. Ramiro's Cantina will close its restaurant at 2350 Frankfort Ave. on Dec. 30 after 15 years in business. Owner Ramiro Gandara made the announcement through a Facebook post late Tuesday. Gandara told Louisville Business First the closure of the Clifton location is part of a larger plan to consolidate his business, so he could focus on his catering business and operating his three food trucks.
