A global company with operations in the Louisville area is laying off its local employees as the plant closes. Tenneco Automotive Operating Company Inc. (NYSE: TEN) will be terminating all employees at its manufacturing plant at 800 Trey St. in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act filing, the company said it began the layoff process in June, and it will continue reducing the workforce until the plant closes in February 2023. The Illinois-based company is located in River Ridge Commerce Center, a 6,000-acre business park in Southern Indiana.
