JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Three people were shot, one fatally, in Jeffersonville, Indiana over the weekend, police said. On Monday evening, police confirmed that a shooting had happened the day before, around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, in the area of Mechanic Street and Veronica Place. When officers got to the scene, they said they found a trio with gunshot wounds, one of whom was already dead. Police called the shooting a "focused attack" and said those involved were familiar with each other. They said everyone who "perpetrated acts of violence" is accounted for and has been interviewed.
