Sep. 25—SOUTHERN INDIANA — One Southern Indiana's Metro Manufacturing Alliance started its sixth Manufacturing Week on Monday with a press conference and a tour of Amatrol, Inc. in Jeffersonville. Area companies, educators and community leaders worked to bring 24 high schools together to learn about the numerous career opportunities manufacturing can provide. Manufacturing Week is a three-day celebration based on Manufacturing Day, which was created to grow and support skilled workers to advance modern manufacturing.
